You can visit us at our Short Pump/Glen Allen and South Richmond/Midlothian locations for your state car and truck inspections. We recommend calling ahead or taking advantage of our drop-off option.

A Virginia State inspection costs $20.00 for motor vehicles and RVs, $12.00 for motorcycles, and $51.00 for tractor-trailers or vehicles carrying over 15 passengers.

Your inspection sticker expires on the last day of the month shown on your sticker. For instance, if your sticker displays a 4, you should get your vehicle inspected by April 30.

The inspection covers brakes, batteries, steering, tires, lamps, mirrors, windshield wipers, horns, doors, seats, exhaust, and more, following the Virginia State Police requirements.

While the inspection duration depends on various factors, most are completed the same day. Scheduling in advance can ensure quicker service.

If your vehicle fails, you’ll receive a rejection sticker and have 15 days to fix the issues. Bring it back for reinspection, and only the failed items will be reevaluate

There’s no grace period, so get your car inspected before registration. We can inspect any vehicle regardless of its current registration status.
